This MG has been in my family since it was purchased by my father-in-law from its first owner around 35 years ago. Regularly and respectfully maintained, driven occasionally, and parked in a garage when not in use. You could drive it home. Exterior is British racing green, with green interior, tan roof, black tonneau, and luggage rack. Odometer reads around 3000. Recently replaced the fuel pump, battery, starter switch and starter motor - kept the replaced parts. Starter and switch are after-market and the fuel pump is SU. Things that could use some attention include the wiper blades, starter switch (which seems sticky), emergency brake, and a tire (because it has a slow leak). The original manual is in the glove box. Haggerty's online valuation puts it somewhere between fair and good. I would like it to have a good home, and am asking $9,500.

Stored in Western MA. Take a look at this beautifully restored custom 1969 MG Midget Roadster. This original California 5 speed MG was owned by the previous owner from 1982 to 2017, had a frame-off resto-mod in 1990 with further customization done in 1998. Car was completely restored with no expense spared and no detail left behind. Everything documented and verifiable with tons of receipts and history on the car. Top quality workmanship is evident beginning with the paint job as the car was stripped to bare metal with 5 coats of base paint and 5 coats of clear applied. Car has lower ground clearance for world class sports car handling and draws amazing power from the performance 1972 MGB engine which was commissioned, built and installed in 2005 and is coupled with a 5 speed manual transmission from a 1978 Datsun B210. Engine features a block bored .060 over 8:8:1compression pistons, mild competition cam shaft, heavy duty push rods, Cannon intake manifold, Weber DCOE carburetor with K&N filter, LCB exhaust header and ARP rod, main and head studs/fasteners This custom MG is loaded with additional features including Rocker Shultz, competition suspension, Spax adjustable tube shocks, metal brake pads with cross drilled - slotted rotors, solid Cherrywood dashboard insert, high output H4 Halogen headlights with relay system, show chrome front and rear bumpers, custom cloth convertible top with zip-out rear window and matching boot, NOS - grille surround, turn signals and lights. Panasonic AM/FM/CD player with Sub and Kenwood 320W AMP and hidden CD changer, bucket seats, roll bar, chrome wire wheels with winged knock-offs. Undercarriage is immaculate and reflects the care taken to keep the car in overall excellent condition. The car has a few minor chips in paint, a little tear in the convertible top and a small rip on the inside edge of the drivers seat. This peppy little roadster runs, drives and looks great and has only been driven for pleasure and to car shows since 1992. Garage kept. It has received numerous 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards since that time. Be sure to check out this amazing sports car.
Asking $11,900 OBO.
