MEETING MINUTES - APRIL 8, 2004
The monthly meeting for April was held on the 8th at the Woburn Elks Club. In attendance were Barbara Day, Mike Crawford, Denise Thorpe, Mike Burgess, Paul Seeberg, Doug Snook, Eric & Ronellen Gagnon, Joe & Janice LeBlanc, Steve McKay, Dave Kalloch, Nels Anderson and Steve Devine.
Doug has updated copies of the Club Bylaws. He will update the change of officers and this document will be available for signatures at the next meeting. For anyone who would like a copy please see Doug.
A reminder to all - DUES is due!! If you have not paid yet, please do so. Please contact Mike Burgess for more information.
Eric is going to order a banner so we will have it to display at the events this year.
In thanks to Paul Seeberg for all his work on the yahoo site - a sweatshirt was given to him. The calendar is great – full of information if you haven ’t yet you should check it out!
Club hats and shirts are for sale at all meetings and events. Hats are $15.00, polo shirts are $25.00 and sweatshirts are $25.00. If you would like to arrange a purchase at any other time or place, please contact Eric Gagnon to work out the details.

Ideas for publicizing and having a more socially active club were discussed. We would like to plan some events with other local car clubs this year.
Mike Nadeau will update and have available a list of club members with phone numbers.
Discussion was held to add a link on the bottom of our home page for some of the clubs recommended or favorite web-sites. It was decided that each link would be voted on before it was added to the list. As of last meeting we will add a link for Steve McKay and Brit Bits. (I think they were the only two.)
Doug checked out the schedule for Wild Willy's and it WILL be open this year for our drive. The drive up the cost of Maine is scheduled for May 15th. I just know it is going to be the start of an awesome spring/summer driving season!
Someone (?) is going to call Sam at Brits Bits and prepare him for our visit on the 22nd of May. Please plan on joining us to officially kick-off the start of 'Drive your British Car Week'!
At the next meeting we would like to place an order for logo apparel. Please bring your ideas. Some ideas are denim shirts, fleece pullovers, long sleeve tees, tote bags, visors and jackets. Let us know what you like!
May 15th - Metro West Drive led by Nels ending with Dinner at Riley's
May 22nd - Our annual drive up the coast of New Hampshire/Maine with a stop to visit Sam at Brits Bits. What drive would be complete without a stop at Wild Willys
May 23nd - Team up with MGA Club to tour the Collings Estate in Stow, MA. More information at next meeting.
June 27th - British Car Day at the MOT, Brookline, MA. For more information on this show, or others at the museum, go to there web site at www.mot.org.
July 31st - The 8th Annual All British Car Show will be held at Strawberry Banke in Portsmouth
August 6th -19th - Spokes on the Slopes Festival (Wachusett Mountain Car Show) hosted by BMCNE. There are driving events on Saturday and a Car show Sunday at 8:30 am. For more details watch for the event posted on their web site www.bmcne.com
August 15th - MG & Rover Day - Museum of Transportation, Brookline, MA. This show has been wonderful in the past, and is well worth attending. For more information on this show, or others at the museum, go to there web site at www.mot.org
Sept 16 - 19th - British Invasion – Stowe, VT
Columbus Day Weekend - American MGB Association is holding a show down the Cape. More information to follow.
October 2nd - Come Ride the Rails @ Edaville Railroad - come celebrate National Cranberry Festival. Each car will receive 2 free admissions to Edaville Railroad which includes 2 free Train Rides! More information to follow.
