MEETING MINUTES - JUNE 9, 2004
The monthly meeting for June was held June 9th. Thanks again to Eric and Ronellen for hosting. It was a great meeting and a fun time!
In attendance were Mike, Michelle and Kyle Nadeau, Will Brien, Barbara Day, Mike Crawford, Denise Thorpe, Mike Burgess, Eric & Ronellen Gagnon, Joe & Janice LeBlanc, Steve McKay, Dan Papali, Nels Anderson and Steve Devine. If I missed anyone - sorry I was too busy eating one of Eric's perfectly grilled hot dogs!

Eric had the new banner on display (over his garage) at the meeting. Wonderful job! It will be great to display this summer.
On May 15th - it was an outstanding day – Nels led us on a drive in Metro West ending with Dinner at Riley's'. A good time was had by all.
Several of us made the drive up the cost of Maine in May. We stopped at Brits Bits - made a few purchases and continued our ride north. We had a great time. Lunch at Wild Willys was awesome!
On May 23rd we joined the MGA Club to tour the Collings Estate in Stow, MA. What started out as a miserable morning turned into a glorious day. We stopped and purchased sandwiches on the way and had a picnic on the grounds. What fun! This is a wonderful place and what a collection!
Club hats and shirts are for sale at all meetings and events. Hats are $15.00, polo shirts are $25.00 and sweatshirts are $25.00. If you would like to arrange a purchase at any other time or place, please contact Eric Gagnon to work out the details.
Congratulations to Eric can Ronellen for placing 1st in the MGB/GT Division at the British by the Sea car show held June 6th in Connecticut.
British Car Day at the MOT, Cost is $15.00 (includes 2 admissions) is scheduled for Sunday, June 27th. The club will meet at the Woburn Mall at 9:00 a.m. We will leave promptly at 9:30 a.m. We will be setting up the tent and banner to display our club sweatshirt along with other club wares.
Steve McKay would like to put together a drive along the back roads of Vermont. A tentative date is set for July 17th.
The next club meeting will be held at the LeBlanc's - on July 13th.

July 31st - The 8th Annual All British Car Show will be held at Strawberry Banke in Portsmouth
August 6th -19th - Spokes on the Slopes Festival (Wachusett Mountain Car Show) hosted by BMCNE. There are driving events on Saturday and a Car show Sunday at 8:30 am. For more details watch for the event posted on their web site www.bmcne.com
August 15th - MG & Rover Day - Museum of Transportation, Brookline, MA. This show has been wonderful in the past, and is well worth attending. For more information on this show, or others at the museum, go to there web site at www.mot.org
