The monthly meeting for March was held on the 11th at the Woburn Elks Club. In attendance were Joe & Janice LeBlanc, Mike Burgess, Nels Anderson, Mike Nadeau, Paul Seeberg, Gene Belinski, Steve Devine, Eric & Ronellen Gagnon, Denise Thorpe, Barbara Day and Doug Snook.

This is what was discussed:

Two (2) amendments to the Bylaws were passed -

(1) Article II, Section 2. This article previously read; "the president, two Vice-presidents", it will now read; "the president, one Vice-president". (We voted to eliminate one vice-president)

(2) Article XII, Section 1. This article previously read; "shall be held on the fourth Monday", it will now read; "shall be held on the second Thursday". (We voted so that the words match our meeting day)

Steve Devine resigned as a director.

A new set of By Laws is being drawn up and will be available for viewing at the next meeting.

A year membership runs from Jan - December. For those that have not paid their dues for the 2004 calendar year please do so now! Please contact Mike Burgess for more information.

At the next meeting we would like to place an order for logo apparel. Please bring your ideas. Some ideas are denim shirts, fleece pullovers, long sleeve tees, tote bags, visors and jackets. Let us know what you like!

Doug will look into a Banner for the club that we could use for a display during the upcoming year.

Barbara Day is willing to recycle her trophies for an event/rally this year. Anyone with ideas!

We have started to fill the 2004 calendar - If you hear of any events, or have an idea let us know. Here are some upcoming events:

May 15th - Metro West Drive led by Nels ending with Dinner at Riley's

May 22nd - Our annual drive up the coast of New Hampshire/Maine with a stop to visit Sam at Brits Bits. What drive would be complete without a stop at Wild Willys

July 31st - The 8th Annual All British Car Show will be held at Strawberry Banke in Portsmouth

August 6th -19th - Spokes on the Slopes Festival (Wachusett Mountain Car Show) hosted by BMCNE. There are driving events on Saturday and a Car show Sunday at 8:30 am. For more details watch for the event posted on their web site

August 15th - MG & Rover Day - Museum of Transportation, Brookline, MA. This show has been wonderful in the past, and is well worth attending. For more information on this show, or others at the museum, go to there web site at

Columbus Day Weekend - American MGB Association is holding a show down the Cape. More information to follow.

October 2nd - Come Ride the Rails @ Edaville Railroad - come celebrate National Cranberry Festival. Each car will receive 2 free admissions to Edaville Railroad which includes 2 free Train Rides! More information to follow.

Several Mystery Drive are in the planning stages. Doug is planning one on the south shore. Mike Burgess is talking about a drive in the Newburyport area. More details will be available at the next meeting.

Club hats and shirts are for sale at all meetings and events. Hats are $15.00, polo shirts are $25.00 and sweatshirts are $25.00. If you would like to arrange a purchase at any other time or place, please contact Eric Gagnon to work out the details.

The next meeting will be on Thursday, April 8th at 7:00 at the THE WOBURN ELKS. The Woburn Elks is on Washington Street, which is exit 36 off of Rte 93. See you all there!
